The narrative begins to gather steam in issues #17 and #18 - although there's some tricky time signature distortion at work that may leave the reader just as discombobulated as our beleaguered protagonist(s). James Highwater experiences a highway epiphany, Buddy's ethical quandaries metastasize (on live TV), and Mirror Master delivers an advanced class in illusionist techniques + Glaswegian smack talk. Then it's time to ingest peyote. Elise delves into some extracurricular reading she's been doing, and there's another letter from Xavi!

Finally, as suggested by listener Jay, here's an Amazon link to Dave's time travel novel, Hypocritic Days (published by Insomniac Press), which is set in the pulp magazine and film worlds of the early 1930s. Please do let us know if you check it out.
