We react to the many emotionally charged, high-energy scenes of Episode 15 of THE RETURN: scenes we've been waiting for for almost three decades, scenes we've been waiting for for a dozen episodes, scenes we weren't waiting for at all, and a couple of beautiful scenes that we never wanted to see. Some characters (like Wendy Robie's Nadine, who gets her best-ever scene) break out of hellish decades-long patterns, while others are in hellish patterns from which death (their own, their partner's, or both) seems the only escape. But Dougie shows some ingenuity that may or may not lead to change.
